ADD A SURFACE LOCK TO YOUR FLYWHEEL? Surface locks have successfully eliminated fretting (surface welding) in every application customers have placed them in. With an installed thickness of .010"-.012" a Diamond Claw Surface Lock will not significantly alter assembly spacing. You'll give yourself a much better chance of the flywheel not coming loose in the first place, and if for some reason it does, you'll have an extra layer of very hard steel that can prevent the flywheel from damaging your crankshaft.

This 850 Series Twin Disc flywheel is designed to go hand in hand with our adapter plate kit that will allow you to bolt up Honda's K series motors to a Subaru EJ transmission (5 or 6-Speed). This kit/flywheel utilizes the factory Honda starter. Our 850 Series Twin Disc clutch kits are built to handle just about anything you can throw at a K swapped Subaru. From street driven cars to full on track cars we can build a twin disc solution that will fit your project car needs.

The adapter plate is 1" thick which allows us to make this single disc flywheel to utilize any of our FX series clutch kits or any other OE style Subaru STi 6-Speed clutch kit.
