Our Pro Series twin and triple disc clutch kits are the result of decades of racing experience and R&D. Having partnered with the most demanding drivers in their respective fields over the years has culminated into one of the highest performing, easiest to service, and robust multi-disc clutch kits available today. The New 850PRO Series Triple disc unit is the latest multi disc unit developed by Clutch Masters for 2026.

What’s new? 

• 12 Heat treated steel stands
• 12-Point nut / stud mounting design 
• Driven hub design for easy disc alignment
• Three .250” thick disc rather than 0.150”

By increasing the pressure plate stands to 12-steel post versus the original 850 with it's aluminum 6-post, the unit has a better structural integrity to handle more torque, abuse, and heat. High horsepower / race applications would cause the aluminum posts to slightly flex and ware due to the high amount of stress. To solve this weak point the stands were doubled to 12 and made from 416 heat treated stainless steel. 

The other major improvement is the new Driven style hub used on the clutch disc. This new design allows for the disc to be driven by one main splined hub and not by two or three individual splined hubs engaging with the transmissions input shaft. This upgraded design allows for an easier install and for continual surface contact on the transmissions input shaft which reduces the risk of stripping the splines on the disc. 

The new design also allows for Three 0.250” thick discs which is a huge improvement form the 0.105” disc that are traditionally used on a triple disc unit. This improvement allows for the unit to have a higher life expectancy and less warpage.

The 850PRO unit is available in a dual sprung hub center for vehicle still looking for a dampened clutch design, or in a twin / triple disc rigid design for race applications looking for a lighter unit with quick aggressive clutch shifts.

Flywheels are available in both 6061 T6 billet aluminum or 4140 billet steel depending on the application.

Serviceability: The FX850PRO unit are 100% serviceable, rebuild kits and components are available.

Investing in the infrastructure to design, manufacture, and assemble all in the US was a crucial step to be able to achieve an improved clutch design for today's market. Being in the driver seat to make quick changes during the R&D phase allowed Clutch Masters to make improvements based off the feedback from the race teams who had a huge input in developing the 850PRO unit. The team at DriftHQ and LZ racing were so impressed by how well the new unit worked we came up with a kit that will be solely available through them for the JZ applications.
