Kits beginning with “08240” for the Acura/Honda K24 require a Hondata Flashpro or other engine management system to be used since the flywheel's weight is lighter than OEM and will cause a check engine light to occur if not properly tuned. If you DO NOT want to use an aftermarket engine management system, then you must use kit number that begins with “08320”. Kit number 08320 is to OEM weight so aftermarket engine management is NOT required.
Kit numbers 08240 and 08320 are both conversion kits that require a Clutch Masters specific flywheel. The stock OEM flywheel will NOT work with a Clutch Masters clutch kit.
Kit numbers that begin with 08240 require flywheel number FW-037-SF
Kit numbers that begin with 08320 require flywheel number FW-320-SF
The FX100 System uses the Power Plus I Heavy-Duty Pressure Plate with a steel backed organic friction material disc. This clutch is engineered for street driven vehicles and is specifically designed for extended wear and additional clamping force for the enthusiast who has added minor bolt-ons such as an exhaust and or intake system, up to 50hp NO2, or other non-forced induction external bolt ons. It features only slightly increased pedal pressure over factory, longer life than stock, and normal clutch feel during engagement and disengagement for a very smooth operation.

*Organic/ Kevlar/ Fiber-Tough Clutch kits are expected and tend to have a higher life expectancy than OEM, however not guaranteed. Improper Installation, Driving style, performance upgrades, Break in procedure and light weight flywheels will effect and have a role in determining the life expectancy of the clutch kit.
